Our Story

1977-1982

When it all began

Andrea Benci began crafting wooden and iron staircases in 1977. In 1982, he opened his own business.

1985-1988

Market consolidation

The company made inroads in the field by actively participating in trade fairs, bolstered by Giuseppe La Fico Guzzo joining us as Sales Director.

1989-1990

In Europe

Michele Benetti joined us as Production Manager, and we expanded with exports to other European countries.

1996-2000

New Life, New Living

After an intense period during which we participated in the world's most prominent international fairs, we decided to open New Living—a production plant in Cecina that immediately established us as a standard setter in the field.

2002-2009

In the world

We began to work with new materials, like stainless steel and glass, and our exports grew beyond Europe..

2014-2018

Working closer with the designers

New Living kept growing, first with a new 1,400-square-meter production plant with an impressive showroom, and then with the opening of a new showroom in San Miniato, devised to give interior designers from all over Tuscany easier access to samples of our work.

2020

Bigger and bigger

The strength of a company can be seen in its continuous willingness to invest so as to improve the services offered. Expanding the company buildings with new infrastructures and introducing a laser cutting machine that marks the full internalisation of every stage of production.

WORKSHOP

In our quality-driven workshop, attention to detail guides every step of the production process. All our staircases are built by experienced artisans and are pre-assembled ahead of delivery in order to ensure they are perfectly installed in our customer’s home. We adhere to a scrupulous process, overseeing every project through its final installation, even for international customers.
